King And Queen

Here's a story bout a king and queen
Little boring nonetheless enchanting
Let me tell you how the story goes
Then you can tell me if it's one you know

The king and queen wear gold crowns
They're like little kids on the gradeschool playground
They wanna dance under the summer moon
They wanna play hide and seek in every room
They wanna kiss as if they're breaking every rule

They feel it in their hearts
They see it in the stars
They can hear it in the wind because it sings in the dark
But who do they think they are?

Everybody in the kingdom waits
To catch a peek over the castle gates
Cos they imagine what goes on inside
They dream about it when they sleep at night

Every day they throw a big parade
Decorations on the road just to celebrate
The king and queen begin to make their way
The people stand along the side and wave
Doesn't everybody wanna to fall in love this way?

They feel it in their hearts
They see it in the stars
They can hear it in the wind because it sings in the dark
But who do they think they are?
King and Queen

Oh, the story, it was told to me
It was just a bunch of make-believe
DonŐt you wonder what you do to me?
Make me feel just like a fantasy

Because I feel it in my heart
I see it in the stars
I wonder where it all comes from
I'm unaware of
The politics of love
I'm a sentimental fool at heart

They feel it in their hearts
They see it in the stars
They can hear it in the wind because it sings in the dark
But who do they think they are?Ę

King and Queen, you and me, King and Queen
